Moaning Moira

Don't you just love making Halloween cards?  I do.  The problem is of all the cards I make, Halloween is the one I don't "need" to make if you know what I mean.  But they are my favorite! LOL.

I made this easle card using Kraftin Kimmie's Moaning Moira.  I colored her with my copics and gave her a deathly complexion.  I love how it turned out!  The bat I got from ebay years ago and I distressed him in some white ink and then glittered him.  The two stickers were bought from Micheals ages ago and were darkened to look spookier! I used Martha Stewarts Spider Web border on the left and Drippy Goo for the top.  The cute little spiders were in my Halloween drawer as was this strip of Halloween ribbon.  I used metal embellishments that I also acquired from Ebay and then airbrushed them black.  The spider web images and Happy Halloween sentiment came from a clear stamp set from Inkadinkadoo.

I hope you have enjoyed today's easle card,

Thanks for stopping in

Halloween Pocket Cards

Don't you just love making Halloween cards?  I do.  I made this card using Splitcoast Stampers tutorial on Double Pocket Card.  I embossed some white bats on the black background and created a couple of tags for the pockets.  I did lots of distressing for good spooky Halloween fun.

On this card I embossed a spider web pattern and added some glitter.  Then for the spiders I flocked them! Sooooo fun to make these.

I hope you have enjoyed today's cards and perhaps you will make your own double pocket cards!

Missing sunshine already

I had fun with this card as I wanted something to remind me of warmer days with bright colors.  I used spellbinders dies and used Whimsy's Pretty Petal's image. I used a felt flourish, resin flowers on the front and of course pearls!

Happy crafting today!

OOooo Spooky!

I created this card using QKR's digi RIP for LEJ Design's Dark/Gothic Challenge.   How fun and spooky is this! I also used the spider web from inkadinadoo clear stamp set.  I then covered my moon area and started distressing like crazy.  I used all Tim Holtz inks including, soot, walnut, concord and vintage.  I then airbrushed the moon with my copics and did all the coloring too.  Then I grabbed one of my favorite Martha Stewart border punches for the oooey drippy blood border and added a few coats of clear applique to really make the drippy part stand out.  I also added clear applique to the skeleton to add some dimension to the hand.

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I did making it!

Sparkly!

Hello everyone! I made this card for this week's whimsy challenge.  It's called all things sparkly! Is it sparkly enough? LOL.

I used my brand new memory box icicle die for the borders, snowflake punches for the words, spellbinders nesties for the background and of course I used Whimsy's Frosty Friends for the image!

I hope you've enjoyed today's snowy and glittery card!
