Sea my card!

I like to play around with my crafting.  So I will often try new techniques and play around with my products.  I tried to do a sea look by bouncing my rubber roller around the photo paper to create this type of look.  I like how it turned out, but I have seen some that are much more bold which I would like to emulate.  I used ALL rubber images for this card, which is pretty rare for me these days.  I unforuntatly didn't keep the packaging for the stamp set and they all were on one page, so I can't tell you who made this set.  It's is an awesome set though.  I tried searching some on ebay without any luck.  The punch on the bottom is a from Martha Stewart and I used some beads for some flavoring.

Thanks for looking at today's CAS card.

Birthday for Mom

It's my mom's birthday this month so I mailed her this cutie patutie! Isn't this image from Instyle just a little sweetheart? She was colored up with copics and the balloons have applique on them.  I used spellbinders dies for the shapes.  The words are from Stampin up and the cute decorative pieces are from my stash.

Hope you have enjoyed today's card!!

Patio Drinks

This card was made with the digi image from My Favorite Stamps.  The image is called Meet me at the Cafe.  I colored the image with copics.  I actually made this card a while back when I was newer to coloring but I still like how it turned out.  The buttons are from my stash.  The leaves are Martha Stewart punches.  I added some clouds to the background, but they seem rather light in this picture so hopefully you can see them.  The brown background paper was embossed with an embossing folder I made my very own self.  The embossing isn't as distinctive as store bought, however, it was fun to make and now I have a leaf embossing folder.  There is also some faux stitching around the page and some bling cause I LOVE bling!

Here is what my embossing folder looks like.  I used cardboard from the back of paper backs for the main part.  Then I used my punches with the cardboard to create the look I wanted.  This was NOT easy.  The punches were hard to punch out. However, I love it!

Hope you enjoyed today's card!!!

Masculine Birthday Card

I used my stampscapes images to create this card. There are a total of 4 images used. That's right, actually rubber stamps instead of digi's! Isn't it exciting when you actually USE what you bought!  Did you spot them all?

Check out this site for all their stamps and tutorials.  It's mind blowingly awesome! http://www.stampscapes.com/lessonset.html

The background color rolled on using my Big and Juicy inkpads. Seriously, that's what they are called!  I have 4 of these puppies and they sure do come in handy!

I colored the cabin to add some dimension.  Then I punched the border with a Martha Stewart punch, I think it's called Pine Needles.

1. Branches along the top.
2. Cabin with trees and reflection.
3. Man on canoe (barely noticeable, located behind border punch.
4. Second water stamp to go further then the reflection.
