Arrrrg!!!

In this card I used the following Make it Colorful's images: Lonely Island, Alvilda the pirate and the beach and merged them using Inkscape .  I then found the perfect shell embellishment and painted it blue with a coating of pearlized paint.  The coloring was done with my favorite markers, copics.  The fun ribbon/cord in the background was picked up Micheals and I had always "planned" on using it, but never got around to it.

I hope you liked todays' fun card.

Steampunk'd

Today's challenge at LEJ Design's is steampunk!
I used LEJ's Loving embrace image.   I also used a couple of brackgrounds I purchased ages ago and never got around to using from Make it Crafty's Urban Street Collection.   I also got to finally use my Stampin up Cogs punch, a steampunk embossing folder and multiple clock parts!

Hope you liked today's card!

Whimsy's Challenge July 25th

This weeks card was inspired by Whimsy's Challenge.  This week is create a card in a summer theme.
I used a couple cute digi's from Whimsy (Lexi's Beach Ball and Babe at the Beach) and I used the beach scenes images from Make it Colorful (the beach and sandcastle)  I used Irfanview to put all the images together.   I airbrushed my clouds and sand and used nestabilities for all my dies.

Aren't these two girls adorable?
