Birthday Joy Card Cupcake

This stampin up paper is so fun to play with.  Probably helps that it has a teal and I am a teal magnet!  I also have an addiction to cupcake stamps (and food).  The bling I received through the dollar store.  The punch I think is called Trellis from Martha Stewart.  The die under the cupcake is called Beaded Circle (spellbinders).  I put clear applique on ALL the cherries for some extra shine and of course distressed the edges. 

I am craving a cupcake already! 

The border die is from Memory Box, but the inside die and stamp are both from Whimsy.

Cute Turtle?

Yes, it turns out you can have a cute turtle.  I decided to use Whismy's Christmas Turtle image for this week's Anything Goes as long as it's festive challenge at Whimsy.  I used Stampin up Design paper and fun pointsetta's from my stash.  For the first time, I have also used these beautiful pretty glittery pearls.  The image and it's background were cut out with nestabilities.

First Christmas Gift Card Holder of the Season!

I used Whimsy's  new image called Annie to make a gift card holder.  I also used my new Memory Box die which I think is called Icicles! I just love these Memory Box dies!  I also used some perfect pearls for snow and my copics to color.

Missing sunshine already

I had fun with this card as I wanted something to remind me of warmer days with bright colors.  I used spellbinders dies and used Whimsy's Pretty Petal's image. I used a felt flourish, resin flowers on the front and of course pearls!

Hello everyone! I made this card for this week's whimsy challenge.  It's called all things sparkly! Is it sparkly enough? LOL.

I used my brand new memory box icicle die for the borders, snowflake punches for the words, spellbinders nesties for the background and of course I used Whimsy's Frosty Friends for the image!

Published! First time!

This is currently one of my favorite digi's from Whimsy.  She is called Birdie Friend.  Is she beautiful?  The background flowers are from Mel Stampz and I merged them using the software Inkscape.  It's a free software and works well for merging and layering multiple digi's.  I popped up one of the flowers, birdie and the ribbon in her hair for additional texture.  I added some clouds in the background, but they seem a little faint in this picture.  Also, spellbinders was used for the hearts circle background and a martha stewart fence punch too.  I also snuck in a flourish die I have and some awesome red flowers from my stash.

She was published in Whimsy's Inspiration Magazine!!

Here is a bit of a close up.  The fence has white crackle on it and was sponged with Linen Antique ink, but it doesn't seem to show the crackles much.

Digi Darla-- Sept 18th Project

Good morning my favorite peeps.  Today's card was made with a Digi Darla image.  I had great fun coloring this image with all the pink and glitter, how fun!  This card is for LEJ's Sparkle and Shine challenge for this fortnight.  The sentiment is from Whimsy.  I glittered up the tutu and added clear applique on her crown for some shine, which I hope will come across on this picture.

Monkey Business

Today's card is created with Whimsy's image Whimsy Monkey.   He is my creation for this weeks Whimsy's challenge lots of layers.  I also used these fun the little blue flowers from my stash that I've had for literally years and buttons that don't get much use either.  I added some glitter around the flowers to make them pop.  I have multiple grass dies and my new memory box die that I am having troubles not putting on every card I make right now.  I just love how dainty and vine-y it is.  It sort of hard to tell in this photo, but Monkey's face is on dimensional to make him pop out more.  His little hand is also cut and pasted on the rope.

Punches and Edges Oh my!

Good morning all my favorite listeners!  Here is a bold sunny card with Whimsy's the Faerie Dandelion digi.  On this card I used 4 different spellbinders including circles, flowers, and pendants.  There is also a few punches and other dies used just to make it a huge mass of punches and edgers.  How fun right?

As of late I have been trying to use items that I own and have never used.  So on this card I added the sticker clouds, the pendant die cut, the main blossom spellbinders die cut, and the orange die cut.

Believe it or not, there are sparkles on the dandelion.  I could really use some photography lessons so I can show glitter off better.

Whimsy's Monochromatic Challenge July 11

This week's card was inspired from Whimsy's Challenge-monocromatic.  I won't lie, the first time I heard I was to participate in this challenge I was deeply worried, but it turns out I had nothing to worry about.  Actually, once I picked my paper and color the coloring came along pretty well.  The image is called Hoody by Whimsy.  The brown-ish flower was a white flower that I airbrushed.  The yellow prima flower I also airbrushed to tone down the brightness of it.  The flourishes are Tim Holtz flourishes dies.  I used a couple of nestabilities on this card.  The cute little clothes pins were also airbrushed.  The printed digital paper background was embossed (digi background by Mel Stampz).  There is a small touch of hand stitching on this card as well. The framed piece that hoody is on was deeply distressed first by airbrushing, then by misting perfect pearls for some sparkle.

Whimsy Blog Hop

Wow... amazing isn't it? July 1st is already here!

Today is very special for a couple of reasons. One because it's my very first posting for Whimsy and second because it's also Whimsy's Digital Monthly Blog Hop!! Which means there are chances for YOU to win some images by commenting along the way of the hop! For today's card I chose Lexi's Beach Ball. She is so adorable. She was colored with copics. The sand is two kinds of sand mixed together and then I placed some translucent smooth to make parts of it SPARKLE!! I paper punched Lexi's bathing suit. Her ball was also colored with copics, sparkle was added and then clear applique to give it dimension. A shell brad was added from my stash. The ribbon was airbrushed with green and yellow centers and I placed dew drops in the centers. I embossed the background with a cuttlebug folder and the edges were done with Martha Stewards shells corner piece. The centers from the shells I placed on the right side for fun.
