This easel card was created with the Rootin' Tootin Cowboy by Karen's Doodles and was colored with copics. I used Spellbinders label's #9 to cut out the image and it's background. The back top half of the card was embossed with the Perfect Details texture plate by Stampin Up.
I used some blue brads from my stash.
The sheriff badge was created with my cricut. Then I embossed it many times in gold embossing powder then when the gold looked silky smooth and still hot I placed a Stampin Up stamp on it to heat emboss the image which says Happy Birthday on it. Afterwards I dabbed some black ink in the stamp image to make it stand out more.
Hope you have enjoyed this card.

Congrats on the blog! Looks great! Your cards are awesome, good job!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! That's a very good technique on how you've made the star... I may have to try that sometime because it actually looks like the real deal!
ReplyDeleteThe card is wonderful but that badge is precious!!! LOVE that! You should glue a pin on the back for the birthday boy to wear it with! Thanks for sharing... did you use a stamp on the hot embossing to make the impression or a metal plate? LOVE it! Kathi
ReplyDeleteI used a stamp on the hot embossing. I love that technique!
